• Responsible to the Contracts Management for day to day contracts administration of the RCA’s (Request for Contracts Action) from Operations Department for various subcontract procurement items from tender to close-out. Negotiate support and manage effective contracts, invitation to bid, bid evaluation, award of contracts, contracts implement, measurement of work completed, and computation of payments. It also include monitoring contracts relationship, addressing related problems incorporating necessary changes or modifications in the contract, ensuring both parties meet or exceed each other’s expectation, and actively interacting with the contractor to achieve the contract’s objective(s).
• Having the capability to supervise, liaise and coordinate with clients to effect the smooth flow, successful and timely execution of the project contracting/ subcontracting requirements according to safety, quality and project specifications.
• Directly reports to the Project Manager
• Review and administer contracts and monitor its performance to ensure company’s compliance and fulfillment to the contract terms and conditions.
• Develop clear and concise key deliverables and formulate plans to benchmark it fulfillment.
• Manage variation orders and claims and interact with project team to negotiate cost effective resolutions to change orders and claims.
• Seek cooperative ways and fair judgment and working through any issue in resolving dispute that may arise during contract performance.
• Identify areas of risks and implement measures to eliminate or minimize any adverse influence on completion or fulfillment of the contract.
• Prepare, review and answer all relevant correspondence for the project management team.
• Keep and maintain all letters, change orders, claims and the like documents of contractual relevance.
• Initiate contract closure process, ensuring that all services and documents are reviewed and approved efficiently and internal controls are addressed.
• Identify specific works for subcontracting, administer/ manage subcontracts ensuring all goods and services of subcontractor are performed in accordance with the agreements.
• Maintain a register of subcontracts / subcontractors
• Issue variation orders to subcontractors as deemed necessary and initiate amendments of existing subcontracts due to variations.
• Prepare and maintain a data base for minutes of meetings and any other discussion of contractual relevance.
• Perform any other work assigned by the Project Manager.
