As the senior IT Manager for the region I am responsible for everything technology and telecoms for the Gulf region. I am currently delivering a large cloud transformation project for the region migrating our on-prem services to the cloud. As the Senior IT Manager I am responsible for the following:

- Cloud migration planning and implementation
- Operating system deployment Microsoft Intune and SCCM
- Managing Microsoft Exchange Online
- Management and deployment of Microsoft Windows servers
- Migrating shared and personal data to OneDrive and Azure
- Disaster recovery / Business continuity planning
- Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and Office 365
- Avaya IP Office telephony

Hays are one of the largest recruitment agencies in the world covering 33 countries and have a total of 255 offices. In my role as the IT manager I support four offices over the Gulf region and India. As the IT manager I am responsible for the following:

- Monitor and maintain multiple servers at different sites around the region.
- Create and setup new users including Exchange 2010 mailboxes.
- Designed and implemented a full disaster recovery plan.
- Provide support to end users and resolve any IT related issues.
- Attended weekly telephone meetings with the IT Director and other IT Managers from around central Europe and rest of the world.
- Filter and monitor web usage of users.
- Data backup and security.
- Update content of both our website and Intranet (Sharepoint)
- Install, upgrade and re-image new and existing workstations.
- Manage 3rd party accounts with multiple suppliers and job boards

- Conduct weekly and monthly client site visits to ensure the optimal performance of IT networks.
- Attend 2nd and 3rd line technical support call outs.

- Advise and guide both existing and new clients on appropriate software, hardware and IT initiatives.
- Conduct new client site visits and provide recommendations to sales team on initial network proposals.

- Attended project meetings and reviews with finance and sales teams to ensure client issues and downtime were kept to a minimum during new network installations.
- Assessed the requirements of installation and support issues and delegated to other engineers as appropriate.
