Responsibilities & duties:
Coordination with the client (Chevron & Fluor) for civil drawings implementation.
Site planning of all related civil activities in-situ as four weeks lookahead.
Structural design for temporary steel works such as lifting cradles, postfix steel beams, and connections.
Design sketches and detailed engineering reports for field changes required on site.
Coordination with Piping & Undergorund team to provide the site with clash free technical support.
Responsibilities & duties:
Responsible for structural analysis calculations and review.
Review the submitted shop drawings, calculations and soil reports by sub-consultants and subcontractors before submission to the client for approval.
Structural design for all temporary steel works such as lifting cradles, post fix steel beams and connections.
3D Structural modeling using computer technology such as TEKLA structures for simulation purposes.
Provide site sketches and detailed shop drawings for concrete & steel structures using AutoCAD.
Coordination with architectural design and MEP services to provide site with clash free technical support
Check the strength of various materials as concrete, steel, and bricks through certificates & testing reports provided by suppliers to monitor if their inclusion requires any structural design change or not.
Working with geotechnical engineers to investigate ground conditions, check results of soil samples and pile testing.
Preparing engineering look ahead reports/presentations to track planning charts using MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint(MS office).
Liaising with relevant professional specialists as HILTI & OTIS for technical advice.
Monitoring and inspecting construction works undertaken by Sub-Contractors.
Participating in technical meetings for coordination with municipality to obtain approvals from local authorities.
