Rock properties and oil sands experiments as a technician and engineer:
• Successfully conducted 200 samples tests for porosity, permeability, fluid saturation.
• Checked oil sands QC (including: Dean stark distillation, overburden porosity and permeability); exported final reports for Imperial, Suncor, Nexen, Husky etc.
Led the reservoir development experiments:
• Tested on formation damage, including water, salt and speed sensitivity for over 250 samples for Bohai bay, Tarim, and Songliao basins in China
• Successfully conducted 500 samples of capillary pressure measurement by high speed centrifuge and mercury injection
• Designed & Conducted gas/water and water/oil reservoir condition relative permeability measurements for over 50 different sizes (φ1~4 inch) of samples
• Tested more than 120 samples of wettability for reservoir development experiment
• Completed test outcomes analysis and reservoir evaluation for relevant oilfields
• Conducted routine rock properties tests and analysis for core or oil sands samples including porosity, permeability, fluids saturation, carbonate contents, and grain bulk densities
