Achievements :

1.Successfully initialized and executed the Onshore Logistical
Contracts for supply of Imported Project Cargo consisting of
Stator, HP Heater, Deareator Transformers etc through
Hydraulic Axle movement. Size ranges from 70 Ft in length, 12
Ft in width and 14 Ft in height . Max weight upto 430 MT. for
Kawai 1320 MW (Rajasthan) and Tiroda 2160 MW
(Maharashtra) Coal based Power Projects from JNPT and
Mundra Ports.Total value of
contracts was Rs.500 Crores. Total FRT handled was 120000. Total Savings : Rs.10 Crores

2. Handled sourcing and imports worth 1000 Crores related to spares and other consumable
items for 03 No power plant sites. Also handled re-export of equipments to China worth
Rs.100 Crores. Procurement of Spares/Earth moving equipments worth 50 Crores. Total
savings in duty is Rs.30-40 Crores.

3. Savings of Rs.20 Crores achieved through proper inventory control, JIT, Lean techniques,
LIFO and FIFO methods apart from Scrap disposal management methods.

and by-products for maximum value realization.

Achievements :

1. Responsible for dispatch of 05 No ODC size vessels measuring 7
M X 7 M and 33 M length to M/s Samsung Engg Ltd, Dahej and
M/s Gujarat Flouro chemicals Ltd, Dahej from Vatva Plant
during NOV 10/JAN 11 . Total Tonnage handled 700 T.
2. Record dispatch of ODC vessels in a single month from single
loading point on 40 Ft Mechanical Trailers and Hydraulic axle
trailer units with a saving of 15 Lakhs.
3. Handled procurement of Raw material/Capital equipments/Earth
moving equipments/Castings/Forgings/Consumables worth 50
Crores. Total Savings : Rs.1 Crore.
4. Exports worth Rs.150 Crores done from Vatva Works with annual
savings of Rs. 2 Crores.
5. Undertook Project execution of migration of inventory worth 100
Crores and of 500MT at Hindustan Dorroliver Ltd, Vatva from
Foxpro based ERP to SAP R/3 ERP. Savings of Rs.10
Crores achieved through elimination of ambiguous item codes,
segregation of slow/dead inventory, disposal of Scarp and cut out
and posting of GRN . Issued Purchase Orders in MM
module SAP R/3 to assimilate all documentation issues related to
procurement of Filter / Pressure vessel equipments .Achieved
saving of approx 200-300 man hours .
