****************My Responsibility****************

BonTon.com is based on WCS 6.0 extended sites model. My role was that of lead application designer and implementer for the Catalogue and Order management modules of the website based on the requirements collected from the end-client. I was also involved in customizing Promotion Engine where in we had to customize a promotion rule like “But Catalogue Entry X, get one or more Catalogue Entry Y Free” i.e. Multiple Free Gift With Promotions. Apart from this I also lead the AMS Team wherein the major activity includes production defect analysis and resolution.

The Create custom book building system for McGraw-Hill Higher Education (MHHE) is an application used by college instructors / professors for creating custom books for their students. Instructors and professors search for content, and assemble custom books by selecting portions of different custom books such as chapters and parts, and assembling them into a unit. Once the custom book is created, a complementary order is placed against the custom book, so that the user receives a copy of the custom book which he / she can review and finalize. Once the custom book is approved, college bookstores place actual orders against the custom book to receive their copies.

******** My Responsibilities *********

1. My responsibility was to design the entire Adapter model where Flexcube Loans module was to be interacting with other modules. The development activity includes both functional and technical solution to the raised issues.
2. Have also been developing the flow from screen to Batch Shells using Servlet, WebSphere MQ and Java. The process was of communicating with the Message Driven Beans on the Host. Middleware used was WebSphere MQ server.
3. Code Reviews, Unit & Integration testing.
