Working as a school nurse:Providing first aid for students, maintaining records and reports, Giving vaccinations as per schedule, Providing health education to the students and staffs.

Assessment for nursing needs and making plans to meet the
nursing need of the patient.
2.
Unit preparation for receiving patients in CCU.
3.
Monitoring, recording and reporting of vital parameters, ECG
recording, blood gas analysis and intake & output chart.
4.
Administration of cardiac medications.
5.
Monitoring all aseptic technique and isolation.
6.
Care of patient in Ventilator.
7.
Maintaining accurate records and reports.
8.
Doing surgical and non surgical wound dressings.
9.
Management of emergencies such as shock, postoperative
complications, cardiac arrest (CPR), hemorrhage and report to the
doctor.
10.
Setting the emergency unit with all emergency equipments in the
working condition.
11.
Assisting doctors for endo tracheal intubations, chest tube
insertion, temporary pacemaker insertion, neck line, arterial line
etc.
12.
Giving accurate information to the patients relatives about the
condition of the patient.
13.
Take care of articles after every procedures cleaning them
properly and store in proper place.
