The function of the Shift Leader is to manage and provide technical support as
required for delivery of all the utilities required to support the
plant operations. The utilities cooling water, Natural gas and waste water plant and auxiliaries. The Shift Leader
will be responsible for operating the utilities, setting up and managing personnel to support the whole operation, identify spares requirement, train operatives and support staff, maintain operational records and operational costs. The Shift Leader will also direct the department and as required by the company management for the Client on a daily basis enforcing safe operating practices and establish a safe environment for customers and staff by abiding with all the procedures and policies as established by the Client and the Company
Responsibly handled everything; as a FM and Shift Supervisor who leads and directs the operations shift team, to deliver safe, environmentally sound, and optimum operation of Utility systems & process units; Full understanding of plant and process specifications and their parameters. I continually focused on the development of the unit personnel's (operators) ability to operate safely and efficiently use process equipment, expect operational problems in advance, troubleshoot, and respond to problems quickly. Experienced in managing and promoting EHSS controls; within the workplace across multidisciplinary sectors. Knowledge and experience to influence positive health and safety behavior in a persuasive manner

Supervised and coordinated the activities of Plant Area, Shift Operators in the operation of multi plant areas in the nuclear complex to ensure production targets are achieved safely and efficiently. This includes identifying maintenance requirements and where immediate action is required. Supervises the activities during Major Shutdowns. Supervised and coordinated the operation of plant areas from the field or control room, according to job knowledge / Plant manuals and instructions and known operating technical constraints. Maintained continuous liaison with other operation crew to managed activities and control of the integrated units. Takes necessary immediate corrective actions to prevent production losses. Monitored and coordinated the actions of Shift Area Operators in the routine operation of assigned areas to ensure production targets are achieved. Assessed where production constraints exist and implemented remedial action(s) to maximize production. Coordinated the testing of automatic shutdown / protection systems. Took immediate corrective actions to limit risk to personnel, plant equipment and production during emergency situations
