Oversee and direct accounting, treasury, budgeting, F&A, stock control & tax activities of the organizations
Cash / Working Capital Management including banking relationship. Dealing & negotiating with banks; prioritizing the requirements, fund management; bridging financing for projects and guarantees availability
Development and delivery of key financial processes and policies to ensure group and statutory reporting compliance with country guidelines
Reviewing the company’s financial policies and procedures and amending them to fit into best practice model as practicable
Handling the complete planning & management activities for ensuring completion of internal, statutory and external audits within time and cost budget under Companies Act, 1956
Preparing tax plans and ensuring timely assessment and filing of direct & indirect tax returns, viz. Income Tax, Sales Tax, TDS in compliance with Statutory Tax Acts
Accountable to lead and support key financial initiatives, develop/enable plans for business growth and develop tools, practices, processes and reports necessary to accomplish current business objectives
Ensure delivery of appropriate and efficient Working Capital Management, Cost Control and Cost Reduction activities within the business, leveraging finance resources
Prepare/ review budgets & plans and share project progress including project’s profit estimates, collection position, cost control initiatives and different analysis with Department/Project Managers and report thereon
Led the successful implementation and compliance of internal and accounting control system in the organization, continually monitoring risks and assess the need to improve the system to achieve the goals.
Prioritize and plan work activities, use time efficiently, set goals and objectives, organize or schedule team members & their tasks and develop realistic action plans
Prepare the financial analytics and presentations, annual operating plan, the quarterly forecast reviews and the strategic planning process
Preparation of Project Report/CMA, getting loans sanctioned, execution of Documentation Activities i.e. mortgage & hypothecation, registering/filing returns pertaining to loans with ROC
- Marketing Strategy, Market Penetration, Handling Sales Team, Product Development, Customer Interface & Achievement of Sales Target.
Achievements :
1) Sorted out old sales tax issues/appeals for the year 2001-02, 2002-03, 2003-04 & 2004-05 & 2007-08 involving tax liability of INR 10crores .
2) Help double the revenue in active participation in Business Planning & Development along with the CEO - from INR 45cr to INR 90cr during 2010-11 to 2012-13.
3) Established Sound Internal Control System & Corporate Governance.

Treasury management; monitor liquidity of the organizations to manage working capital and place extra funds with different financial institutions on better negotiated terms

Preparing periodical cash flow, fund flow related statements for Monthly Sales, Purchase, Budget, Plan, Cash Flow, Fund Flow Reports, and Monthly Stock Report etc.
Achievements :
Successfully handled 2 projects (Project Finance) without the support of the consultants to the tune of 5cr. It involved preparation of Project Report, getting loan sanctioned at better rate of interest from bank & executing loan documents (liasioning activities).
