Currently I'm heading Fire, Safety, Healthcare and Environmental departments of my organization. In addition to that I'm the Management Representative of company Quality Management System which is certified by LRQA for ISO 9001:2008.
• Conduct periodic internal reviews or audits to ensure that compliance procedures are followed, with especial emphasis to Quality, Health, Safety, Environmental and Fire prevention aspects.
• Conduct or direct the internal investigation of compliance issues on QHSE and report to the management.
• Assess product, compliance, or operational risks and develop risk management strategies to minimize the risks associated with operations.
• Conduct Health, safety and Environmental audits to ensure adherence to relevant Statutory and regulatory standards.
• Identify compliance issues that require follow-up or investigation.
• Disseminate written policies and procedures related to compliance.
From 2007 to 2012 I had been working as the Head of Safety department and followings were my key responsibilities:
• To serve as the staff specialist in Health, Safety and Environmental issues by developing and carrying out procedures with the line organization that effectively control accident and health exposures in the company.
• Hazard Identification and risk assessments in the yard activities and developing emergency response plans as necessary
• Carryout environmental audit and measurements and report to the management to for corrective actions.
• Set Health, Safety & Environment objectives to the organization and monitor their progress and report to the management
• Coordinate and Monitor the daily activities of Safety Engineers, & other production department Engineers, Safety supervisors and Safety inspectors in accordance with weekly safety program.
• Attending and presenting Client/Management meeting Compiles, monthly safety statistics report, site injury report, personnel/ vehicular accident reports and dangerous occurrence reports
