Al Naim Trading a multi venture company ventured into the hospitality sector early 2023.
My role in this business was to conceptualize and develop home-grown restaurant brands and manage the company P&L.
Al Amer Co conceptualized Mizo Eatery in 2018 and over the years the brand has made a significant presence in the F&B scene in Riyadh and Khobar regions.
• Directed, managed and hands-on the management, operation and administration of the Company
• Reduced the overall food cost percentage of the restaurants from 35% to 28% by identifying and eliminating inventory issues including excess ordering, rising shrinkage, poor storage and changing suppliers
• Managed and grew Top line Revenue and closed the year with a YOY increase of 13%
• Collaborated with Executive Chef and Senior Manager to create and refresh the menus and streamline prices in various cities
A Bahraini start-up, the company acquired regional franchise rights for the international mobile e-commerce application Fatafat. Fatafat is an all in one on-demand delivery platform that allows users to easily and quickly order various types of products including food, groceries, medicine, books, pet supplies and much more.
• Managed day-to-day operations including delivery logistics, and customer service.
• Achieved an efficiency rate of 92% of timely and accurate delivery while maintaining quality standards.
• Recruiting, training, and managing a team of delivery drivers, kitchen staff, and customer service representatives.
• Budgeting and cost control: Monitoring expenses related to food sourcing, delivery, and marketing.
• Optimized operational costs by ensure controls of fuel expenditure and man hours management by effective scheduling.
• Signed up with over 400 restaurants to join the app
Founded in 2005, MESK-Holdings is a Bahraini closed shareholding company established to capitalize on the growth of the hospitality and leisure industries in the GCC and the Middle East.
• Completely overhauled the company operating processes and brought in core team players namely two Head Chefs and a restaurant manager
• Closed down loss making outlets and redistributed majority of the staff to other outlets
• Changed menus and menu pricing to be realistic towards the targeted market segments
• Brought the company to overall profitability achieving a 7% profit from a loss the previous year.

• Managed a team of over 250 personnel across the various brands
• Maintained relations with various franchisors and actively worked towards strategic development of the brands in Qatar
• Successfully negotiated franchise fees waivers from franchisors for a year
• Achieved 10% rent reductions from various landlords
Nando’s, Bread Talk, Second Cup, Steak Escape, Spun Candy and a local patisserie Caramel.
• Lead a team of four Operations Managers and 200 team mates
• Primary focus on company profitability, business development and new acquisitions.
• Recruitment at all levels and due to the extensive business expansions and travelled extensively on recruitment trips to conduct interviews
