Responsible for Contracting and Procurement activities for EPC projects, leading an team of Procurement Engineers
To prepare and seek approval of procurement and subcontract plan and procedure from company.
To prepare and placement of purchase / subcontract orders which includes RFQ, Technical and commercial evaluation, negotiations (contractual and commercial) and follow DOA for the approval process.
Responsible for post-award contract management of the purchase / subcontract orders which includes delivery, amendments till payment to the supplier /subcontractor.
Interact regularly with Engineering, Projects & Finance to understand the technical & financial aspects of the project and to ensure identification of appropriate sources of materials (quality products and engineering services) in compliance to contract requirements and company requirements of quality, reliability and price.
To understand project programmed requirements, know upcoming materials requirements and works.
Ensure specifications and drawings are reviewed and clarification on unclear issues related to materials re obtained.
Arrange all necessary submission or approvals related to Permanent Materials needed for smooth and timely execution of construction works.
Ensuring materials are from approved source in compliance with project specification or contract requirements as stated in Material Requisition / Purchase Order.
Procurement of all Project material for Oil & Gas Projects, Engineered Equipments, Pumps, Ejectors, Gas Pipe Line material, Structural Steel, Flanges, fittings, HDPE, Gaskets, Valves, Pig Laucher Receiver, StudBolts, Isolation Joint, Barred Tees, CP Systems, Valves, Butt Weld Fittings .etc Basic content of work involves floating of enquries as per purchase requisitions, assessing the quotations, negotiation with vendors on price and techno-commercial matters.
Subcontract and services like Engineering Subcontract, Fabrication support, Piling Onshore/Offshore, water proofing, Pre Cast Subcontract, Dewatering, Fire Proofing, Insulation & cladding, Blasting & Painting, Scaffolding, Cold Cutting & Bolt torquing, Chemical Cleaning, Man power & equipment hiring, HSE Studies, TPI, Valve testing, oil flushing, Hot Tapping, galvanization, NDT works, Concrete & mechanical testing, Geotechnical Investigation (Onshore /Offshore), vibro compaction, cold bending, cladding, Catering.
Sound Knowledge in Technical evaluation for Long lead, Packaged & bulk materials.
Highlighting management of critical Areas in procurement of materials.
Entering into frame work agreement with suppliers for Various Project materials & consumable items

Handled all aspects of client interfacing. Managed client expectation effectively, enabling sales team to firmly close the commercial aspects
Requirement gathering, documentation, project delivery, User Acceptance testing
Interacted closely with client to create project road map, creating opportunity for future integration / deployment of projects
