• To examine and analyze the root cause behind operational non-conformities / compliance of all equipment serviced by dnata Technical Services, as obtained from customer feedback, operational reports, external and internal audits MMS reports, etc., to be able to provide concerned Workshops Line Manager with clear recommendations for corrective action and/or service recovery.
• To ensure the changed/ improved/ modified procedures and working instructions are incorporated in appropriate operational and procedures manuals, and they are adhered to in day-to-day work practices, by carrying out periodic inspections of the dTS workshops to ensure their compliance to established maintenance standards and procedures.
• Conduct gap analyses of existing processes and management systems and facilitate the implementation of corrective actions to enable the attainment of compliance to new applicable standards and guidelines.
Ensure that his facility/operations at all times are in compliance with EHS requirements.
•Inspection of all work places, the promotion of the safe conduct of work, hazard identification techniques and communication of corrective measures to management
•Issuance of Hot/Cold Work permits for all non-routine works.
•Maintaining “Eye wash/Safety Shower (if required)”, first aid facilities and personal protective equipment as demanded by the nature of the work/Material Safety Data Sheets.
•Investigating of all types of accidents & Reporting to EHS as well as accident prevention and maintaining accident records
•Training of workers and ensuring that they are issued with adequate instructions and creating awareness of safe work practice among them.
•Carrying out Job Safety Analysis to determine “Hazards of the operations/activity” and facilitating suitable solutions.
•Ensuring that the provisions of this Document, its references and Dubai Municipality Local Orders/ Regulations /guidelines (where applicable) are complied with.
•Maintain a record for “all chemicals/dangerous goods” used/stored at the premises, their Material Safety Data Sheets and advice management/staff on safe handling/transport & storage practices.
•Conducting HS&E Audits on regular basis & advice management for necessary action.
•Liaise with members of EHS on a regular basis to ensure that all Local/State/Federal Health & Safety Requirements are met.
•Coordination with concerned departments for Internal Audits
•Coordination with concerned departments for Non Conformities and Corrective / Preventive Actions

HSE assessment & progress
•To Conduct / review Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Control Plan exercise.

Lean & Six Sigma implementation & review
•Identification & review of Lean and Six sigma projects in the form of DMAIC & PFMEA
•Continuous monitoring of projects after submission of closure for next 1 year in order to verify the sustenance level & benefits incurred from the project

Kaizen

Monitoring all the production lines with regard to efficiencies, KPI’s and ensuring the minimum breakdown.

Raising of Queries With Technical Service Group with regard to new product implementation and cost reduction drives.
Conduct training programs on safety in VARIM (Vacuum assisted resin injection molding) & Process Understanding on composites to the new operators.
