 Track the quality document for FAI.
 Decides whether an FAI is required or not for each individual part. Refer to FAI process document for more details. Liaison with IQC till successful acceptance of FAI parts.
 If FAI required ­ conducts FAI or co coordinates with the concerned BFG engineer at site for the FAI. Communicate actions post FAI to the supplier.
 Negotiations and MOQ / Supplier not responding issues from procurement on a case to case basis
 Bids pricing and supporting global sites on sourcing and development as and when requested.
 During / immediately after the ECR meeting, formally inform the PM/ Engg / Planning implication of the ECR
 Cost and lead time for implementation from the regular supplier.
 Highlight to the PM if there if a risk is foreseen between FAI / initial deliveries and schedules
 Stock in hand and in transit of the existing revision
