• Co-ordinate with QC team, PMC and TPI for daily mechanical activities.
• Monitor and surveillance of PQT/WQT team for Welding and Coating qualification.
• Audit sub-contractor’s credentials prior to commencement of work and conduct quarterly quality audit for the subcontractors involved in the project.
• Co-ordinate with engineering team for vendor’s inspection, incoming materials and schedule the inspection for the materials with client.
• Ensure all the mechanical activities are under the radar of quality team.
• Schedule the work status and submit the method statement for approval
• Conduct monthly quality meeting for improvement in the inspection, documentation and discuss about the findings from the TPI, PMC and Company comments.
• Schedule and assign the inspectors according to the activities.
• Review and approve all the welding related documents of contractor’s which includes WPS, PQR, Welder’s Performance record, welder’s register, weld matrix and work files.
• Witness welder’s performance and certify the welders according to their qualification.
• Surveillance and monitor daily welding activities.
• Validate and approve the Welder’s performance as per the qualification records and performance.
• Ensuring that particular project site activities are all performed in compliance with client project quality requirements, as identified in the contract specification, Scope of work, Project Specific QC procedures, Construction method Statements and Inspection and Test plans.
• Implement Quality Management System (QMS) and monitor the system is working out all the phases of the project.
• Generating weekly and monthly reports on quality status of all activities.
• Ensuring that all copies of test records and inspection reports are certified and submitted to company.
• Taking responsible to direct for daily QA/QC work activities for all Welding/Coating, Painting/NDT, Coordination and liaising with client on site in respect to any QA/QC issues, Non-conformance, corrective/preventive actions, Monitoring and surveillance of subcontractors site QA/QC activities to ensure that all the project qualities are achieved.
• Conduct daily welding inspections such as fit-up inspection, before, during and after welding, dimension verification, material inspection and consumables verification.
• Coordinate with construction department for day to day activities and allocate NDT personnel for mechanical activities to the various areas of site inspection.
• Inspection works for Jacket, SPS, Tendem Piles, Conductor Piles, Mooring Piles, Barge works for offloading assistance in deck welding inspection and sea fastening stands. Conducting welder qualification for welders in the project.
• Preparing Inspection reports for Welding pipes, structural works associated with fabrication and final dossier for piping works prior offloading.
• Coordinate for closure of NCR and prepare documents relates to NCR.
• Welding inspection activities for welding process such as automatic welding and manual welding for welding process of SAW, SMAW, GTAW and FCAW.
• Coordinate with construction department for day to day activities and allocate inspection personnel for mechanical activities to the various areas of site inspection.
• Conduct daily welding inspections such as fit-up inspection, before, during and after welding, dimension verification, material inspection and consumables verification. Inspection works with High pressure piping works and piling works for marine structures.
• Establish WPS and PQR to get Aramco approval prior to start production welding.
• Conducting welder qualification for welders involved in the project
• Preparing Inspection reports for Welding pipes, structural works associated with fabrication. Preparation of final dossier for piping works prior offloading.
• Coordinate for closure of NCR and prepared documents relates to NCR.
• Welding inspection activities for welding process such as automatic welding (With and without filler (autogenous) and manual welding for welding process of SAW, SMAW, GTAW and FCAW.
• Establish WPS and PQR to get approval prior to start production welding.
• Conducting welder qualification for welders involved in the project.
• Coordinate with client and third party inspection agency and assign inspectors for inspection like material inspection, welding inspection and all related mechanical activities. Preparation of final dossier for piping works prior hydro-testing.
• Coordinate for closure of NCR and prepared documents relates to NCR.
• Lead the QC team for inspection and documentation to ensure all the activities are executed as per approved construction drawings.
• Witnessing top tapping works for crude oil station which connects with branches of other tanks.
• Inspection works for Underground and above ground Coating and Painting application for Pipeline and Piping works.
• Impressed current system and Insulation Joint for Underground Pipeline.
• Inspection works relates to coating and painting such as pre-cleaning, surface cleanliness/roughness, Anchor profile, WFT and DFT measurements; Witnessing of Mixing and thinning works like agitation (Induction time) and closely monitoring the pot life of the painting system.
• Coating/Painting works for 3LPE, Polyurethane, Zinc ethyl silicate and High Build Epoxy.
• Welding inspection activities for welding process such as automatic welding and manual welding for welding process of SAW, SMAW, GTAW and FCAW
• Prepares method of statement for all mechanical activities.
• Interpretation of weld Radiographs and other NDT performance test like UT, MPT & PT.
• Preparing of Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), Corrective action and implementation of Preventive actions.
• Final Inspection and releasing spools and structural’s for painting of prefabricated piping systems.
• Witnessing and experienced in executing Hydro test and preparation of reports.
