** providing leadership and direction to assigned departments,
product lines or profit centers and teams in order to meet
production goals
** Schedule, track, & monitor production and costs to ensure
unit meets established goals while maintaining a safe work
environment and quality standards
** Maintain effective workforce through hiring, training,
coaching and disciplinary actions.
** Provide hands on approach with a technical bias for
decision making and action
** Manage and develop production resource through
accurate management approach
** Complete and maintain timely and accurate reports on critical
production outcomes such as efficiency, downtime, cost, etc
** Develop and implement safety awareness programs,
communicate safety issues, correct safety related problems,
and lead investigations into safety related issues.
** Coordination with various yard departments on daily
basis or achieving the daily targets in line with detailed
projects program
** Ensure that all operations carried out conform to quality
and safety standards and meet customer expectations
** provide proactive resolution of all production issues.
** Participate in designing and implementing continuous
improvement processes.
* Managing and Controlling the Design Department
* Meeting with the clients, contractors and consultants
to ensure the flow of the work for all technical aspect
for each project.
* Arrange Daily Reports of the Activities in the
Technical Department and follow-up all the work related
to the department.
* Responsible for all works related to the assigned
projects in coordination with Sales, Material, Production,
Dispatch, Installation, Estimation and Quality Control
Department.
* Study the tender drawing.
* Send inquiries for specified Materials
prices, special products, fabricated items, etc.
* Prepares cost breakdown as per project’s specification.
* Provides computerize estimated cost for quotation.
* Submit the Material Submittals and maintain approvals.
* Check / review the Shop Drawings with the material
submitted for client’s approval.
* Calculation of Material Requisition for All Profils,
Hardware / Accessories and Glass etc.
* To do Site Visit frequently to solve the technical problems
if any at site.
* Preparation of Cutting List (fabrication sizes) for
production of Works
* Preparation of Bill of Material for production & Installation
* Coordinate with the Sales Department if there is any .
variation to original contract and do with the Variation Order
* Helps the Sales Executives to close their work-out
projects by assisting them on technical aspect.
* Preparation of schedule time for projects.
* Control producion line
* Runtime study to increase production.
* Order cutting lists to reduce materials waste.
* Order production line as appropriate for required product.
* Follow up the machinery and equipment case
and determine whate needs to maintenance or parts change.
* Writing periodical reports.
* Evaluate workers performance.
* Achieving/ exceeding annual sales target
* Liaise with other members of the sales team
* Carry out site survey
* Liaise with warehouse to prepare products delivery
* Collect payments as per agreements
* prepare samples for coming presentations
* Follow up with existing projects
* prepare and submit daily/weekly reports to the direct manager
* Attend daily/weekly huddles and meetings
