•Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
•Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
•Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
•Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
•Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
•Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
•Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Responsibilities:
•Provide support and guidelines to top management regarding inventory management.
•To investigate and resolve the inventory issues at central and sub warehouses.
•To define the SOPs for smooth inventory operation and defining the working criteria
•To inform the inventory related issues to the top management
•To prepare and present the inventory analysis to CFO on monthly basis.
•To prepare and present the annual, half and quarterly presentation regarding inventory performance to board of directors.
•To review and approve all store documentation of day to day warehousing operations.
•Performance management of my team.
•To look after all ERP related issues pertaining to the Inventory Management and warehousing.
•To look after all purchase related issues which are related to inventory management.
•Active coordination with the production and sales departments.
To manage the overall yarn inventory system
•To ensure accuracy of stock, by checking of stock & generate daily stock report
•Control the movement of rejected material and management of returnable yarn sent for processing.
•To monitor and prepare documents for sale of dead stock yarn.
•To carry out stock taking on weekly basis and documentation of daily issuance.
•To coordinate monthly stock taking with Contractors.
•Physically Monitoring yarn return from production.
•To ensure accuracy, physically check daily reports of receipts & issuance.
•For equal distribution of work, Induction of staff as per requirement
•For monthly analysis preparation of all yarn related reports & verification of yarn rejection notes.
•To ensure safety of man & material by physically checking of equipment.
•To update daily yarn received and balance schedule and to check daily yarn consumption as per 21 days requirement given by the mill
Marketing Co-Ordination with MIS
•To manage and follow-up of all MIS related issues pertaining to the Inventory.
•To discuss and facilitate mechanism regarding yarn purchase
•Manage monthly purchase report building.
