Key Result Areas:
Ensures that all aspects of a construction project are properly designed, installed, tested and maintained for all
telecoms and security systems. Troubleshooting tasks, monitor progress, perform tests, conduct audits, and assist
clients. Telecom & security systems Include Vhf Marine & Aero Radio Systems, Telephony, Cctv, Paga, Weather
Monitoring Systems, NDB, Access Control Systems, Fiber Optic Systems, Hotlines, Video Conference Systems, Lan &
Entertainment TV Systems.
· Developing commissioning procedures, participate on FAT, SAT & OTP execution of commissioning.
· Participate in MC verification to obtain ready for Commissioning status to secure a smooth transfer of
Commissioning Packages from Construction to Commissioning.
· Preparing ITR Check lists, specifications and data sheets related to telecom and security systems.
· Interface and regularly meet with client and vendor representatives, participate in all internal staff meetings,
ensure the progress of project in accordance to schedule, allotted man hours.
· Coordinating with projects and planning on project time schedules, establishing target completion dates, ensure target dates are achieved.
· Interacting with quality assurance for quality issues, strictly ensure compliance with company’s ISO quality procedures.
· Responsible for completion activities related to commissioning package equipment & handover to operation.
· Making improvements to, and offering advice about, operational procedures.
· Following up punch work in the field and punch list documentation.
· Ensuring the drawings/documents are marked up with changes identified during Commissioning and that as-
built documentation is updated according to Site Instructions.
· All Activities are performed during Commissioning is made in full compliance with client ́s safety regulations to maintain “No LTI” objectives of zero accidents, injuries and losses.

· Conducting fault diagnosis as well as investigations & analysis of telecom problems and implementing routine, predictive, preventive & corrective maintenance schedules for the wire line, wireless network to increase the up-time and keep the system operational to increase the reliability of the equipment/system.
· Administering operations & maintenance activities of the external line plant including the telephone cable and optical fiber distribution network.
· Guiding & monitoring the sub-contractors/vendors to complete the installation.
· Interfacing with other disciplines to ensure integration of activities.
· Playing a key role in updating the Telecoms Database Management System, preparation of method statements
procedures and as built drawings as per the requirement.
· Interfacing with vendors and ISPs (Etisalat/Du) to troubleshoot and maintain the critical communication systems.
