Organize and implement safety training programs in order to develop, ensure and maintain safety culture and zero-accident target in the company.

•Plan, implement, and monitor the HSE performance as stipulated in the HSE plan.
•Ensure adherence to all KNPC Safe work practices/procedures during the maintenance activities at the work site.
•Coordinate with KNPC Safety Division to ensure the effective implementation of OHSAS 18001:2007 standards
•Prepare HSE Training Matrix Annual HSE Training plan and implement the same.
•Conduct HSE Induction Training for new employees and other HSE trainings for all level of employees.
•Active Participation in all HSE Meetings conducted by KNPC with respect to the Contract.
•Organize KN monthly HSE meetings and prepare minutes of meetings and track the status of minutes.
•Regular documentation of HSE training records, periodical inspection and checklists.
•To report all incidents to the KN Management and to the KNPC Contract Superintendent and Safety Division representative.
•Investigate all incidents and submission of investigation reports to KN Management and to the KNPC Contract Superintend and Safety Division representative.
•Regular submission of monthly HSE performance report to KNPC Contract Superintendent and Safety Division of KNPC.
•Identify the hazards and Risk in the working environment and apply suitable control measures as mentioned in KNPC OHS Risk Register for Catalyst Loading & Unloading related activities in KNPC.
•Active participation in KNPC Work Permit Risk Assessment for all critical jobs.
•To stop the personnel doing Sub standard Act.
•Ensure Safety Talk is conducted by Supervisor for employees prior to start of work.
•Develop and implement HSE Promotional Schemes.
•Communicate KNPC HSE updated/revised procedures to all employees through Tool box Talk, Trainings, KN HSE meetings and MEMO’s (KN/ KNPC) circulated to concerned personnel.
•Communicate lessons learnt from the incidents to the employees

Operation & Maintenance Offsite
Will discuss and bring to the notice of construction, site supervisor everyday his observations about the assigned area.
Monitor the work activity regarding the unsafe acts of workers and unsafe conditions prevailing at site and inform supervisor for taking corrective actions, prevent or stop job when immediate action is required.
To ensure that tool box talk is carried out before start up the job.
To carry out daily morning round and conduct safety briefing before start up the job.
To ensure JSA is carried out for all critical jobs. To inform the construction site supervisor regarding training/certification requirement of workers for carrying out the job.
Participate in planning and conducting HSE meeting. Make availability and uses of PPE'S at site. Respond to fire and other emergencies.

Operation & Maintenance Offsite
Treat the waste water from various operations in the refinery and maintain the minas standard in treated water for reuse for effluent treatment using physical treatment chemical treatment, biological treatment and polishing section.
