Emil has worked on multiple Saudi Aramco projects and performed Electrical design such as hazardous area classification, cable routing layout, lighting layout, grounding layout, cable schedule, material take-off, and cable sizing. He also prepares As-built drawings such as single line diagram, cable routing layout, grounding, lighting, cable schedule, and Engineering details and recently involved in S3D modeling and SPEL activities. Emil also conducted training in Cable Raceway design as a support to the initiative of the department Saudization program.
Emil had experienced working on Multi-international Projects such as Oil and Gas, Refinery, and manufacturing plant. Work scope includes but not limited to Electrical design of Cable tray system, Grounding, Cable sizing, Lighting, Underground and Above ground power layout, Hazardous Area Classification, etc. He has also experience using design aide software such as Smartplant Electrical, Smartplant 3D, Smart Sketch, AutoCad, Microstation, Dialux, Luxicon, Smartplant Review, Light form modeller, and Estimating software RIB.
Emil had experienced to design and estimate of multiple industrial plant projects with different electrical systems such as Incoming power layout, Single Line Diagram design, lighting and receptacle system, Exterior lighting system, Fire alarm system, Public address system, telephone and intercom system, LAN system, CCTV and MATV system, and Lightning protection system. Emil also prepares design computation such as illumination and voltage drop computation and analyzes load computation for the proper sizing of wiring and protective device (MV and LV) in accordance to standards. He also prepares single line diagram for the power system and riser diagram for auxiliaries’ system and clarifies/coordinates with client and other discipline (civil and mechanical) about scope of work. Emil conducts site visit and inspection as necessary to identify the scope of work of the project.
- As Estimator, Emil coordinates with vendor/supplier the quality and cost of material. He also prepares a detailed bill of quantities with unit rates for material and labor and coordinates with Estimation Assistant encoder to make sure the completion of detailed bill of quantities and project proposal on time. He is also involved making a profit plan and table of budget for each project. He also prepares necessary documents for the application of Electrical permits in compliance with the government regulations and client’s requirements.
