• Have Estimation, Installation, Design and Site Experience
• Preparing site visit report if needed after exploring site conditions & surroundings.
• Review & study bid document in order to verify the availability of sufficient information.
• Review BOQ, Tender drawings, specification, special & general conditions which have to be verified all together, in coordinating with Contract administrator or legal adviser.
• Doing Estimation for the project as Per NFPA Stander & Dubai Civil Defense
• Ability to review of drawings and documents received from clients and preparing BOM and quantities for fire protection system, plumbing and other mechanical electrical devices for Project
• Preparing BOQ if not specified by the client
• Comparison between BOQ and quantity takeoff to verify the final quantity to do the pricing sheet
• Examine the accuracy of material quantities and the final cost using complex mathematical formulas and software.
• Coordinating with the Procurement Department to collect information about market prices for suppliers & subcontractors and equipment’s based upon previously executed projects & recently available information, try to get the best-committed prices from suitable sources
• Contributing to any cost breakdown related to new scope & Change or Variation orders.
• Preparing Project, fit-out, comprehensive and noncomprehensive quotation, and maintenance Quotation as per standard
• Follow up with client & developer during the bid evaluation stage.
• Preparing and sending inquiries to sub-contractors and supplier to get better material prices
• Preparing breakdown of rates for items inclusive of material, labor and wastage.
• Preparing complete file (including soft copy backups) for each project.
• Doing an inspection of all Fire protection System after installation
• Coordinating and attending a site meeting
• Time management and manpower management ability
• Making installation, inspection, and maintenance daily, weekly & monthly report
• Providing technical advice to a technician and other site engineers to perform work as per NFPA and Dubai civil defense.
• Studying and analysis documents for tenders for all MEP works
inspections on HVAC systems and components (e.g. heating units, building exhaust fans, ventilation units, etc.) to evaluate condition, identify necessary repairs and recommend preventive maintenance
•Supervises technicians as they fabricate equipment parts to meet specialty needs and/or replace unavailable parts
•installations of HVAC equipment and systems to provide enhanced and/or upgraded capabilities
•Monitors repairs on HVAC systems and/or components (e.g. pumps, motors, air handlers, fan coils, piping, etc.)
