• Implementing company HSE standard Procedures and comply the needs of Consultant in the field of safety.
• Conduct monthly safety meeting with the Construction Team.
• Coordinate with the Consultant/Construction safety department from time to time the immediate safety issues arising from site activities and works being carried out.
• Regular site inspection to monitor compliance with safety regulations.
• Regular and scheduled inspection of works and equipment on job site to ensure proper safety procedures as per clients’ specification.
• Investigate all accidents and near misses for root causes and recommendation to prevent similarities
• Ensuring Emergency Drills are performing according a set-up schedule.
• Promote Health, Safety and Environmental Awareness.
• Monitoring the day to day activities of Safety services for the assigned operations area.
• Conduct safety inductions to the newly workers and staff in site.
• Develop generic toolbox talks.
• Identify Substandard Conditions and Acts and give an appropriate advice.
• Daily/Weekly Safety walkthrough in the work place.
• Report any unsafe act and condition to Project Director /CM

Monitor safety of ongoing activities on site, such as trenching/excavation/backfilling and monitoring the areas of improvement.
•Monitor safety of the ongoing activities on site, such as steel/rebar fabrication and shutters installation on various concrete structures and monitoring the areas of improvement.
•Monitor operation (health safety and environment matters) at stock pile/crusher areas and precast yards and provide recommendation on safe operation.
•Advise project team on the deficiencies of implementation of safety management system.
•Conduct onsite training on safe loading/unloading of materials proper use of hand and power tools, man/machine work place interface, manual handling, proper use and importance of body harness, lanyard and anchorage.
•Monitor compliance of equipment activities like lifting, hauling, dumping and crusher machine operations.
•Validate subcontractors’ heavy equipment and its operator for legal and site requirement such as 3rd party certificates and valid registration of equipment, 3rd party competency certificate and valid driving license of the operator.
•Ensure that reports on safety performance of the OSH & E management system are discussed in weekly meeting.
•Review incident record and ensure all follow up action is completed in timely manner.
•Monitors driver’s site orientation and training program are strictly enforced.
•Demonstrate commitment to continuously improve and upgrade employees, self and set as a character model of Health Safety Environmental at all times.
Able Seaman/Safety Officer
Vessel Assignment: M/V Westerngeco Columbus / Seismic Research Vessel
• Perform bridge and Port watch. Helps deck maintenance and repairs.
• Checks fresh water and ballast water tank soundings, hatch covers and deck cargo lashings.
• Monitors water tank replenishment by recording their level.
• Delegate to deck crewmembers and various tasks assigned by the Chief Officer.
• Measures and records the bilge of compartments under the pumping operator’s responsibility and report the same to the Chief Officer.
• Perform ballasting and de ballasting operation as instructed by the Chief Officer.
• Perform maintenance, cargo handling and mooring work upon instructed by the bosun.
• Perform carpentry and cementing work. Perform duties of a lookout and helmsman.
• Keep bridge and the gangway clean, obey the orders of the deck officer in charge when carrying out maintenance work or when using navigational equipment, accessories in rescue boat, lifesaving appliances, pilot ladder, steering gear and other bridge accessories.
• Conduct training to the newly hired Ordinary Seaman.
