•An Islamic Shipping Lease (Ijara Wa Iqtina) for two oil tankers for US$77 Million, with an option of two more, totalling US$154 M
•Aircraft lease for US$35M
•The building of a Bunkering Station (lease)
•Other transactions have included Murabaha, Mudarabah and Istisna’a
Structured two leasing (Ijara Wa Iqtina) transactions for residential cum commercial centre in the holy city of Makkah
•Planned an Istisna'a for a holiday resort in Jeddah
•Managed a mixed investment portfolio in excess of US$50 Million
Raised in excess of US$250 Million for projects in countries such as:
Pakistan: Raised US$75 Million for the HUB River project funded by the Islamic Development Bank
Increased the portfolio I was given from SR.100 Million to approx. SR.400 Million
•Structured the first Islamic transaction
Member of Risk assessment committee.
•Set up guidelines for branches to avoid bad debt
•Seconded to Barclays Bank, London for five months
