Personal Assistant to the CEO

The company mentors and prepares high school students for admission to US and Canadian universities through one-on-one
college counselling and test preparation. They also assist with preparatory and graduate school applications.
Here are some of my roles:
1. Doing administrative and clerical tasks (such as scanning or printing)
2. Preparing and editing letters, reports, memos, and email
3. Prioritizes conflicting needs. Handles matters expeditiously, proactively, and
follows-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline
pressures
4. Plans, coordinates and ensures the CEO's schedule is followed and respected.
Provides "gatekeeper" and "gateway" role, creating win-win situations for
direct access to the CEO's time and office
5. Manage the office environment and overseeing general maintenance of the office; with the support of the Office Manager
6. Acts as student coordinator: deals with parent/student high-pressure or time-
sensitive issues in a timely and effective manner
7. Accounting Tasks - In-charge of generating invoices for clients, maintaining
accounts receivable files and records, and maintenance of Petty Cash.

Excellence Training Centre is a place where different languages are being taught. English, German, Arabic, French and etc. They also provide training for IELTS and TOEFL.
• Accounts Receivable - Generating invoices for clients, recording and
following up on customer payments either to be received via cash,
checks, or credit card transactions
• Petty Cash Management - Ensuring that the monthly office expenses are
kept at minimum level or less. Maintaining and recording petty cash
transactions.
• Payroll Preparation and Reporting - Processing monthly salaries,
ensuring that proper deductions are properly observed and paid salaries
on time
• Managing workflow by assigning tasks to other administrative employees
daily, ensuring that deadlines are met and work is completed
appropriately
• Updating office expenses and costs. Ordering office supplies and
researching new deals and suppliers.
• Generating class schedules for each of the courses offered and ensuring
students attendance by sending email reminders and messages
• Managing appointments, agendas, travel arrangements etc. for the upper
management.
• Ensuring sales target is achieved by converting inquiries into clients
• Managing phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc).
