Responsible for all the project implementations around the world as the head of Project. Guiding the team and taking decisions, while executing annual appraisals, conducting trainings on new technologies and company products, creating targets for each individual, resource forecasting and recruitments.
• Undertaking critical projects by administering, guiding the project teams and reviewing the weekly targets.
• Advancing the use of continuous deployment using CI/CD tools to all the products and projects.
Responsible for product roadmaps of the company product suite and project implementations as the head of consulting services, while leading both Business Analysis and Project Implementation teams. Guiding both teams and taking decisions, executing annual appraisals, creating targets for each individual, resource forecasting and recruitments.
• Deployment automation using CI/CD tools like CHEF, Maven, Nagios and INSPEC.
• Introduced an online user manual for products using the open-source software MediaWiki.
• Implemented a certification process including DB fine tuning, load testing and benchmarking products before forwarding it for project implementation.
• Introduced a process to identify new product features through customers, market researches and add them to product backlogs in order to necessitate them in the next versions.
• Facilitated necessary improvements to progressively build up an Implementation oriented team for project implementation where software engineer dependency was nil.
The key responsibilities included under the designation were technical project management, project management, analysing business requirements, and software architecture designing.
• Played the technical country manager role for all Philippines based projects for two years.
• Project management from project initiation to closure of implementing products and mission critical projects.
• Guiding the transaction switch product team on research and development in emerging technologies and new business requirements through analysing business requirements and preparing functional specifications and technical design documents.
• Reviewing, designing and developing Software Architecture using object oriented design and designing Enterprise Software Architecture to fit all the products into one product suite (iSuite™).
• Involved in VISA, Master, JCB, UPI, AMEX, DCI integration and certification processes.
• Involved in implementing national payment switch in Philippines and national remittance switch in Bangladesh as the lead Engineer for transaction switch (iSwitch™).
Involved in developing key products of the company and played a major role as a developer in more than 10 projects implemented around the world during the course of this period.
• Involved in designing and developing iSwitch™ (transaction & payment switch which drives ATM, POS, mobile and Internet transactions) using GNU C/C++.
• Involved in Projects with more than 8 banks in the Middle East, ASEAN, and South Asia.
• Involved in VISA and MasterCard integration and certification process.
• Designing and developing the PBF (Positive Balance File) module, which handles/authorises financial transactions at the time of Core Banking System offline.
