• Creating courses and schedules; Writing ESP and general English materials and curricula for use in different business sectors such as Airside Services, Security, Cleaning & Hospitality, Cash Management and Corporate Services. These courses have ensured employee promotion and progression, reducing employee turnover by over 50% across the business.
• Second in charge to the English specialist; in charge of a team of 3: attending meetings and scheduling weekly tasks.
• Design and lead training and development initiatives to drive the organisation forward in line with strategic goals
• Creating a series of e-learn courses from initial design to online implementation and facilitating.
• Facilitating professional development courses e.g. ILM level 2 and level 3 courses.
• Creating a continual English Development programme throughout the company -encouraging over 16, 000 staff to learn and improve their language skills
• Course delivery including sessions in Customer care training, Communication skills training, Buddy scheme training, EPT testing and Business writing skills for all levels of employees in Transguard.
• English placement test induction training for overseas agents of Transguard. The learners included executives, assistant mangers and mangers (ongoing).
• Facilitate theory and practical training sessions to new recruits (all from a multi-national/cultural background) in cash services and security familiarisation. Trained over 3000 staff.
• Monitor and document learner’s progress during training sessions, completing the training records accurately and in a timely manner to ensure accessibility to other Training Facilitators and the Human Resource training and development manager
• Analyse and contribute feedback on training material in order to assist with the development and implementation of new training material
• Provide assessment, both formative and summative to ensure the desired learning objectives are achieved
• Delivering and training leadership skills to supervisors
• Human resource induction of new joiners
• Implement and maintain internet connectivity, remote access, virtual private networks and protocols at all betting premises
• Install, configure and maintain security for LAN/WAN, internet and wireless
• File clients and enter them into the data base
• Liaise with the welfare administrator to identify CV banked clients who have payed and those who have not and show it in the data base.
• Promoting the departments filing records and putting them on the company database.
