Project Description : Redevelopment of the Public Institute of Administration including 3 Star Hotel Client : ASSAS and KAYAN
•PMC : Khatib and Alami. (KNA)

Responsibilities:
•Establishing a Quality Management System at site as per SPML, QMS and PQP Requirements.
•Preparing Project Quality Plan, Inspection and Test Plans and formats for various building construction activities such as Excavation, Backfilling, Blinding, waterproofing, Raft, column, slab, blockwork, plastering, painting, gypsum partition works, ceiling works etc.
•Ensuring that Project Quality plans, Safety plans, work instructions and SOPs are followed during execution of various site activities.
•Setting up laboratory at site and ensuring testing of material as per ITP & Quality plan and calibration of all measuring instruments.
•Chairing Quality Meetings, Progress meetings and safety meetings with the client, consultant and subcontractors.
•Responsible for day-to-day inspection of incoming Material, Safety measures at site, RCC & Finishing activities as per relevant codes/specification, making reports & coordinating amongst Site Execution Team.
•Responsible for review and acceptance of Manufacturers Test Certificate of bought out items and material like cement, sand, aggregate, tiles, plumbing and finishing items.
•Responsible for sample collection, testing and approvals of materials.
•Responsible for maintenance of internal or external Laboratory / Field test reports, Field inspection, material inspection reports and documentation of testing processes.
•Issuing site non-conformities to Contractors for deviations in material, process, product, safety and analysis of NCs to establish the trend and root causes.
•Ensuring effective Corrective actions are taken and the NCs are closed on time without any delay to the Project progress.
•Performance evaluation of the contractor along with Project Manager w.r.t. Quality.
•Conducting quality awareness training at regular intervals at site for supervisors & workers on critical quality parameters.
•Providing solutions at site to improve the Safety, quality of finishing works, construction and minimize customer complaints

Multiple Projects (Corporate Quality Business)
•Client : Multiple (Ashghal, Qatar Petroleum, Supreme Committee, DOPMO Etc.)

Responsibilities:

•Maintain organization’s ISO certification.
• Coordinate and monitor the Quality Registers.
• Establish and monitoring local objectives related to the IMS.
• Monitor system documentation for the region.
• Maintain the regional/office internal audit schedule.
• Conduct internal audits as required.
• Register, distribute and track resolution of non-conformances.
• Coordinate external audits (2nd and 3rd party audits).
• Facilitate development and delivery of training material related to IMS processes to create a culture of embracing the IMS through awareness and competence.
•Record and identify trends in non-conformance.
•Assist Client Feedback Survey process.
•Ensure that all deliverables, undergo checking and verification before being released to client/sub-consultant.
•Assist reviews of IMS procedures and document control and ensure implementation is in compliance with contract requirements on regional sites.
•Work in conjunction with project managers to ensure that all quality standards and issues are identified and addressed.
•Facilitate sub-consultant and sub-contractor selection and assessments.
•Participate in quality or technical compliance audits for contractors, sub-contractors or vendors.
•Review the contract documents for assigned construction package in respect of quality requirements and procedures and advise the project manager and contracts team of any deficiencies.
•Review the quality plans as submitted by the contractors and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
