• Provide design service in compliance with various design briefs and applicable codes and standards ensuring it meets the end-user needs and are cost effective.
• Review Consultants and Contractors submittals (shop drawings, material submissions, mock-ups and samples during construction and comment documents such reviews as may be required.
• Manage awarded Contractors/Suppliers to ensure timely execution of FF&E, Artwork and Signage Supply and Installation
• Coordinate tendering process for performance-based FF&E and Signage packages
• Contribute to the preparation of the budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues.
• Monitor the financial performance of assigned design area versus budgets so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and corrective actions are taken.
• Coordinates with other Discipline Engineers assigned to the project; ensure compatibility between interior systems such as: Finishes, Furniture’s, Bespoke Joinery, Signage, Artwork, with Architectural, Structural Systems, MEP, AV/IT and building service elements.
• Supervise construction site visits to review construction progress and ensure that the approved design intent is being carried out
• Recommend improvements to departmental procedure and direct the implementation of instructions and controls so that all relevant procedure/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost effective service.
