I am providing leadership in the development and
successful delivery of the Naval Science Program at the Naval College. The responsibilities includes:
o New curriculum development and implementation
o Preparation and submission of Self-Study report to Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) satisfying all standards requirements.
o Development of Program Learning Outcome “PLO” and Mapping of Course Learning Outcome CLO to ensure the success of the program.
o Conduct PLO Assessments based on the Course Assessment Reports and their cyclic review vis-a-vis other Institutional Research related aspects.
o Conduct of effective formative and summative assessments, faculty development, and student progression.
o Preparation of Budget for the Naval Science Program
I work very closely with UAE Navy for the effective implementation of Defense System Approach
to Training “DSAT”, to ensure that the Training Objectives of the UAE Navy are met. One of my recent significant achievement is the approval of my proposal to initiate “Bachelor of
Marine Engineering Program” by the GHQ of UAE Armed Forces in patenership with HCT.
I was responsible for the overall quality, content, development and delivery of all academic and vocational training programs offered by the department, to fulfil the training needs of Royal Navy of Oman, and to satisfy the Curriculum requirements of University of Portsmouth UK. The main responsibilities include:
o Providing leadership to the staff in the development of course modules for successful
delivery of Marine Engineering Program comprising of five pathways
o Working with Royal Navy of Oman to ascertain and fulfil the training needs of technicians and engineers in five pathways
o Identifying and commissioning of all curriculum related laboratories and marine related
workshop equipment to supplement the classroom teaching
Responsibilities include all aspects of the graduate school, starting from admission processing, registration, academic monitoring, and dissertation thesis evaluation to graduation of Masters and PhD students. Supervising and managing financial aid office. Formulation, approval and implementation of policies concerning Postgraduate students. Chairman PhD Admission award Committee, Chairman Scholarship Award Committee, Member of University Academic Council and University Curriculum Review Committee.

Supervision and Implementation of a continuous and process-oriented integrated management system (consisting of ISO 9001-2000, OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 and ISO 27001) as a management and control tool throughout the MTC, complete with an effective and legally established structural and workflow organization. The responsibility includes the acquisition of Ship from Royal Navy, carrying out essential repairs at
Plymouth UK worth 1.25 million British £, Acceptance trials and taking over ship from Royal Navy.
Overseeing the entire Marine engineering department onboard ship including but not limited to
maintenance and operation of all marine engineering equipment onboard ship. To Act as a Nuclear
Biological Chemical Damage control officer, Responsible for inventory control of all spare parts,
extra fuel, and oil.

Responsible for maintaining and executing contracts with OEMs. Follow up of all projects being
undertaken by OEMs and subsequent acceptance trials. Execution of Reliability Centered
Maintenance Program.
