o Ensuring safe Drill Site operations; day to day management and execution of the drilling program, and providing support in technical selling, key field product application, well prognosis, and/or product performance for the product line.
o Attaining a high standard of customer satisfaction by aligning filed activities with customer objectives and needs.
o Delivering drilling optimization: Driving significant efforts in producing plans for wells and adjusting hydraulics; formulating BHA modeling along with torque and drag analysis, thereby improving overall efficiency.
o Lead Engineer for Root Cause Analysis, investigating unusual or unsatisfactory product performance, performing preventive action and eliminating risks and reducing errors by ascertaining drill-ability issues.
o Reducing costs to improve competitiveness by helping in product development with prototype tools for target applications along with new product market introductions.
o Ensuring that all business activities are conducted under HSE policies, legal compliance requirements, and core values.
o Lead in designing new bits for several applications and completing special projects as assigned while maintaining seamless coordination with the project team.
o Improving overall performance by recommending design modifications as well as presenting data to customers for technical understanding.
o Identifying the areas of obstruction/ quality failures, and recommending solutions on system and process changes for qualitative improvement in productivity.
o Monitoring drill bit performance and reporting trends. Offering inputs to senior management with detailed performance studies and regular reports for optimization of drilling performance for critical or strategic applications.
