Promote and demonstrate a safety mind-set in all aspects of Facilities work
Carry out preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance tasks in both electrical and mechanical fields as assigned by
the Facilities Engineer.
Carry out electrical plant installations & services as required.
Develop and maintain a working understanding of relevant plant processes for Facilities plant and equipment.
Analyse malfunctioning plant & equipment, recommend corrective action and make repairs or modifications as necessary.
Support the operation and maintenance of the Building Management System
Co-ordinate teams in maintenance, repair & installation work as required.
Flexibly support and interface with other disciplines to achieve Facility objectives.
Carry out PAT testing duties as required.
Contribute to the generation and improvement of Facility work processes.
Ensure all relevant job cards and other documentation are completed and submitted promptly.
Support the Facilities Engineer in the supervision and co-ordination of third-party contractors.
Provide on-call cover as part of a Facilities Team roster.
Support and participate in the introduction, maintenance and utilization of a Computer Aided Facilities Management system.
Ad-hock tasks assigned by Facilities Manager.
▪ Circuit verification, testing, and commissioning
▪ Plan and schedule projects, estimate time and materials, supervise subordinates, maintain records and files and prepare reports
▪ Plan and supervise the work of electricians
▪ Plan and estimate electrical jobs.
Maintain records on electrical jobs and assign to appropriate personnel
▪ Installation and maintenance of circuit breakers and Switchgear
▪ Erection of PTRs
▪ 132KV and 220KV transformer maintenance, testing, and protection
▪ Control and protection of Transformer
▪ Installation and troubleshooting of electrical wiring and street lighting system
▪ Able to perform inspection/maintenance of 24V, 48V, 110V, 220 V DC Batteries chargers Inverter’s system
▪ HV/LV motors overhauling, maintenance, testing, protection, and automatic starting
▪ ACCR Production line operations
▪ Assembling, evaluating, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, and apparatus
▪ Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment, appliances, and apparatus
▪ Constructing and fabricating parts, using hand tools and specifications
▪ Reading and interpreting electrical and electronic circuit blueprints, diagrams, and schematics
▪ Advising management on continued use of unsuitable equipment, appliances, and apparatus
▪ Worked on projects like electric grids stations and power plant up-gradation projects
