Prepare the quantity comparison between contract BOQ (Bill of Quantity) & actual quantities
from the IFC drawings and submit the report to the site Project Manager.
Identifying the long lead items and ordering it in the initial phase of the project.
Submitting the technical submissions (material submissions as per the project specifications)
and taking approvals from the consultant prior to procurement.
Submit the mood board (sample board) to client as per specification / BOQ / Drawing
including alternative option and obtain approvals within budget
Preparation of the material procurement list (Bill of Materials) and coordinating with the
purchase department for ordering the selected material and delivery as per the site schedule.
Negotiation and finalization of the sub-contractors in the early stage of the project.
Raising RFI’s to the relevant authorities.
Reviewing the Fire ratings from the approved Civil Defense Fire and Life Safety drawings
and comparing it with project documents
Raising Variation orders for the additional scope of works with marked drawings &
substantial documents.
Submitting the variations as per the Engineer’s Instructions (EI)
Preparation & submission of Sub- contractor payment certificates, invoices etc.
Keeping track of the procurement of the project, check and follow up delivery of materials
and coordinating with the site supervisor for GRN (Goods received note).
Monitoring and controlling the cash flow throughout the projects against the Budget.
Submitting the final budget evaluation report to the Commercial Manager after the project
completion.
Review of tender documents, scope of works, drawings, specifications & client requirements
from tender documents for proper estimating works
Quantity take off from the Drawings and preparation of bill of quantities (BOQ)
Computing the cost of all construction items by analyzing the labor, material, overhead, profit
and time requirements & presenting a tender price.
Prepare and submit the variation orders (VO) with quantity take-off, cost estimation (CE) and
rate analysis with all supporting documents
Delivering all work outputs in an accurate and timely manner
Collecting IFC drawings from consultants and further coordinating to design team for
preparing shop drawings.
Getting approval from the consultants on shop drawings.
Examine plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations
Estimation of materials, Preparation of BOQ’s with rate Analysis for the sub-contractors.
Manages the support and provision of project tools and equipment.
Coordinating design team to prepare As Built drawings
Preparing Measurements as per the work completion then submission to the consultants for
certification.
Preparing reconciliation statement based on the Qty. of Materials received, Qty. of materials
used, and balance on site and then calculate the material wastage
