• Project: Al Layyah 1026 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP) for SEWA.
• Description: Combined cycle gas turbine power plant project on a turnkey basis 1026 MW, Consortium of Elsewedy Electric and Mitsubishi Power
• Responsibilities: Testing and commissioning for 6.6KV Medium Voltage Switchgears and 380V Low Voltage Switchgears Testing and commissioning for 220V DC Chargers, inverters, and UPS. Testing and commissioning for all motors (MV and LV motors), and Service transformers. Testing and supporting all Generator and turbine tests in power plants (blackout test, load rejection, house load, and Performance Test). Preparing test procedures, test sheets, and as-built drawings for all the electrical systems, as required by the project specifications.
• Project: New Babel 400/132 KV GIS S/S.
• Description: Substation project on a turnkey basis. Toshiba supplied 400KV GIS with a one-and-a-half arrangement, 132KV GIS with a double bus single breaker arrangement, and the Power transformer with ratings of 400/132/11 KV.
• Responsibilities: Testing and commissioning for 132 KV GIS equipment (CB, Disconnector Switch, Earth Switch, Bushing, Surge Arrestor, and CCVT), and commissioning for 11 KV MV SWGR. High voltage tests (HV), partial discharge tests (PD), and HV machine assembly and dismantling. Interlock tests (Electrical and Mechanical Interlock), and wiring checks.
Interface test, loop check, and support for electrical systems with SAS.
• Project: Nuweiba Seawater RO Desalination Plant 15000 m³/day.
• Description: Seawater RO Desalination Plant 15000 m³/day on a turnkey basis.
• Responsibilities: Testing and commissioning for Service transformers and RMU. Testing and commissioning for 22 KV Medium Voltage Switchgears and 380V Low Voltage Switchgears. Testing and commissioning for 220V DC Chargers, Batteries, inverters, and UPS. Testing and commissioning for all motors (MV and LV motors). Interface test, loop check, and support for electrical systems with SCADA system. Operation and start‐up support for all electrical systems.
• Project: 1. Shatra 400/132/11 KV GIS S/S. 2. AlBassrah 400/132/11 KV GIS S/S. 3. Mothana 400/132/11 KV GIS S/S. 4. Maysan 400/132/11 KV GIS S/S.
• Description: Substation project on a turnkey basis. Toshiba supplied 400KV GIS with one-and-a-half arrangement, 132KV GIS with a double bus single breaker arrangement, and the Power transformer with ratings of 400/132/11 KV. 11KV MV SWGR provided by ABB.
• Responsibilities: Testing and commissioning for 400/132 KV GIS equipment (CB, Disconnector Switch, Earth Switch, Bushing, Surge Arrestor, and CCVT). High voltage tests (HV), partial discharge tests (PD), and HV machine assembly and dismantling. Testing and commissioning for capacitors bank and shunt reactors. Interface test, loop check, and support for electrical systems with SAS, and Operation and start‐up for electrical systems.
• Project: Manshiet Nasser 220/66/11 KV substation
• Description: Substation project implemented on a turnkey basis. 220KV GIS with a double bus single breaker arrangement. 66KV GIS with a double bus single breaker bus bar arrangement. 11KV MV (Medium Voltage) SWGR provided by Siemens. Power transformer
with ratings of 220/66/11 KV and a capacity of 125 MVA. Power transformer with ratings of 66/11 KV and a capacity of 40 MVA.
• Responsibilities: Testing and commissioning 220 KV and 66 KV GIS equipment (CB, Disconnector Switch, Earth Switch, Bushing, Surge Arrestor, and CCVT). Conducted HV testing for 220 KV and 66 KV GIS using the HIGH VOLT machine.
• Project: West Damietta Combined cycle power plant, Egypt.
• Description: The project encompasses the construction of a 750 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant, along with the extension of the existing GIS. The GIS expansion includes one diameter of one-and half busbar arrangement supplied by Hyundai.
• Responsibilities: Testing and commissioning the extension diameters in the 220 KV GIS Testing and commissioning 6600/415V dry transformers. Testing and commissioning for 6.6KV Medium Voltage Switchgears and Low Voltage Switchgear Testing and commissioning for 220V DC Chargers, Batteries, and UPS.
• Project: El Ain El Sokhna Supercritical Power Plant, Egypt.
• Description: The project encompasses the construction of a 2 x 650 MW Gas/Oil fired unit, and the contracting plan utilized a multi package system.
• Responsibilities: Testing and commissioning 6600/415V dry transformers. Testing and commissioning for 380V Low Voltage Switchgears, and load centers. Testing and commissioning for 220V Batteries. Testing and commissioning for LV motors and Cables.
