Org. Manpower Structuring & Recruitment
•Develop Job Descriptions and Person's Specifications, maintain career succession and development plans
•Plan and forecast Org. manpower needs, announce job vacancies, source high caliber applicants
•Design & monitor applicant database and tracking system along with a regret system and a talent bank system
•Develop and prepare interview guides, manage interviewing process and assist managers with the hiring procedures
•Update internal online vacancy list with JBAS new vacancies
Performance Management
•Maintain and direct annual Performance Appraisal exercise
•Follow up with managers on employee's objectives setting, and revise employees' quarterly performance reviews
•Study & report appraisal results and operate recommended actions
Internal Communication
•In charge of plasma screen ads at JBAS
•Arrange colleague communication meetings and other staff socializing events
•In charge of colleagues newsletter at Jumeirah Beach
•Conduct induction sessions for newly hired employees to guide them as regards to company's policies, staff rights, facilities and ways to perform more efficiently at work
•Liaising with group sales and marketing regarding Voices Launch at JBAS (colleague incentive and rewards program)
•Organizes Team Buildings
•Organizes Annual Staff Party
Personnel Operations
•Constantly maintain and keep to company's policies and procedures & Labor Law compliances
•Liaise with group HR regarding vacation, flight booking, new hire, leavers and staff medical checks
•Handle emergency leave
•Liaise with group payroll regarding salaries, sick leave, extra hours, lieu days and employees' queries
•Appraisal handling
•Handle resignations and clearance
•Handle Oasys (HRIS); raise new hire, status change, location change e- docs
•Liaise with Jumeirah Training Center regarding training programs and nominations
•Liaise with group HR regarding therapists' licenses
•Manage the Oracle HR system
Emiratization
•In charge of achieving Emiratization target at JBAS - recruiting UAE Nationals
•Conducting HR Cross Training for UAE National colleagues
•Attend UAE Career Fairs
•Mentor for UAE National trainees assigned to JBAS
•Keeping record of UAE Nationals' head count and sources of recruitment (Al Masar, Maharat, Direct Hire or Open Days)
•liaising with Emiratization team regarding UAE Nationals' uniforms
Other
•Conduct exit interviews
•Conduct reference checks for successful candidates
•Employee recognition and rewards
•Conduct staff career planning for JBAS (for Sports and Leisure, Engineering, Kitchen, Stewarding, Spa, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage and Security Departments)
