Placing 3 years Audit Plan according to the Risk Assessment results and organizational objectives
Sourcing consultants (big 4 companies) and monitoring the outputs of the engagements
Scheduling and reporting significant finding to the Board and the audit committee
Ensuring timely completion of internal audit engagements
Driving Follow Up Audit reviews and bringing together multiple stakeholders to agree on appropriate solutions and ensuring that risks are mitigated appropriately
Performing sudden counts for petty cash funds, annual fixed assets count, annual physical inventory of stores, etc.
Establishing the internal audit charter, IA manual, and related policies
Establishing whistle blowing system (Amana) including channels of reporting and investigation process
Performing awareness sessions to employees on controls, policies and procedures
Support compliance committee in implementation of laws and regulations (AML & ESR)
Liaise with both MOE (Ministry of Economy) & MOF (Ministry of Finance)
Representing Sharjah Media City in government Excellence Program
Ensure that all laws and regulations of SFD (Sharjah Finance Department) are honored

Handling Financial Planning and Budgeting for government Authority
Performing financial analysis and communicating results and trends to the Head of Departments for purpose of decision making
Driving Budget implementation & monitoring deviations to control deployment of projects within approved plans
Reporting results to SFD on quarterly basis
Demonstrating to the top management the results of operations and financials on monthly basis
Ensuring consistency of operations and control activities across all units
Collaborating with other executives/officers to define and improve authority’s and its subsidiaries financial performance
Ensuring compliance with IFRS and appropriate Financial Reporting
Performing disbursement audits for Authority’s payments
Participating in the monthly and year-end closing
Issuing accounts statements to suppliers/customers/banks to reconcile balances
Liaising with business partners such as ERP, Technology teams
