◦ Assist and coordinate with a resident or senior engineer for the management and supervision of structural and civil aspects of the project.
◦ Responsible for preparing and maintaining site diaries on a daily basis at the site.
◦ Maintain a good understanding of the project priorities and programs..
◦ Assures incoming quality of received materials and verifies in the approved material submittals.
◦ Assist in administering safety programs at the site. Issue instructions as necessary to correct any safety violations.
◦ Attend and visit laboratory/plant inspection, witness tests, and material inspection.
◦ Verify all calibration certificates of equipment and instrument used at the site.
◦ Responsible for the accuracy of bar bending schedule (BBS), method of cutting, splicing, and other requirements mentioned on the approved codes and standards.
◦ Responsible for checking the arrangement, procedures, and installation of reinforcement for every structural member and part.
◦ Review the progress of the works, identify constraints, and recommend corrective measures.
◦ Maintains awareness of the project's civil and structural specifications and drawings.
◦ Remain vigilant regarding all aspects of the construction activities and monitor the contractor's performance and their compliance with the specification and contract.
