• Coordination of Micro Activities (raw material and finished product testing) to ensure testing meets department agreed KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators).
• Ensure finished and raw materials are consistent with company specifications through analytical testing.
• Responsible for testing both finished products and raw materials and accurate recording of results.
• Execute wet chemistry analyses based on standard operating procedures.
• Sample preparation, data acquisition, data interpretation and reporting in support of production.
• Daily calibrations of analytical equipment
• Analysing samples / daily Effluent, regulatory and environmental monitor analysis
• Execute wet chemistry analyses based on standard operating procedures.
• Monitoring performance of existing analytical methods and improve / optimise as necessary
• Developing and validating new analytical methods
• Weekly Calibration of instruments, review and act on results
• Execute daily tasks and work instructions according to the relevant SOP's.
• Inspect components for compliance with specification.
• Label and release components according to SOP’s.
• Interpret and/or calculate results.
• Record and report results of all testing.
• Conduct routine water testing.
