✔ Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP or IFRS).
✔ Reconcile accounts, including bank statements, general ledger accounts, and intercompany accounts, to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
✔ Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and training on accounting principles and best practices.
✔ Coordinate and facilitate external audits. Prepare audit schedules, address auditor inquiries, and ensure timely completion of audit reports.
✔ Quickly responding to queries relating to invoices and payments.
✔ Proficient in the use of computerized accounting systems and spreadsheets.
Oversee /daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliation. Prepare budgeting reports and forecast revenue. Provide analysis of cash flow and operating costs. Quickly responding to queries relating to invoices and payments. Handing incoming cash and posting it into the relevant bank accounts. Reconciling payments with bills. Checking purchase invoices with delivery notes. Proficient in the use of computerized accounting systems and spreadsheets. Good keyboard skills, and able to quickly input. Ensuring all invoices are validated against relevant purchase orders. Monitoring customer accounts for non-payment and delayed payment. Making sure to have approval from the office in charge before incurring expenses. Establish a proper filing system for client invoices, supplier invoices, petty cash bills, banks, business correspondence, bank payments etc.
