•Monitor supply and investment situations and incorporate any changes in either, so that stock levels always represent the best balance.
•Dispose all surplus and obsolete items.
•Direct the inventory and warehouse management; raise all recommended orders (stock purchase requisition) to enable buyers to place orders.
•Monitor price changes and take remedial action where necessary.
•Support company operations with an uninterrupted flow of materials and services by improving the customer service level with the given resources.
