Inquire for prices of Raw Materials with the suppliers.
Negotiate quoted prices based on previous price, current market price and budget
Negotiate terms such as payment terms and shipping terms.
Processing the PO based on final agreed price.
Sending POs to the suppliers and arranging all necessary documents for Import Clearance.
Processing Developmemt Samples and exploring alternative sources
Sorting out variances between Commercial Invoice and PO
Coordinating with the supplier as to the discrepancies between the approved specification and samples or consignment sent by the supplier.
Checking of the draft documents sent by supplier.
Checking of rates with local freight forwarders and major shipping lines for Ex-works shipments.
Tracking of shipment and following up with the shipping line whenever there are congestion of delays in shipment.
