In this role I purchase all types of molds, dies and their spareparts for all Elaraby
factories.
I deal with over 6 departments, such as factory planning, R&D, finance, import,
domestic and international logistics and custom clearance departments.
My job starts by receiving purchase requisitions from planning to start negotiating
with the suppliers to reach our technical requirements while still being within our
budget, issuing the purchase order to the suppliers, following up with them during
DFM, manufacturing, trials and loading the molds to ship when technically
accepted.
I achieve on time delivery for all projects through collaboration with key
stakeholders within the supply chain.
I follow the investment plan and cash flow to optimize the use of cash in banks.
I achieved a discount of 10% last year on total projects resulting in approx. $1.6
million negotiated savings.

In this job, I was responsible for planning the spare parts requirements for after
sales centers.
I helped reduce the number of products replacement by a great margin as a result of
good forecasting of the required spare parts of particular seasons.
I made daily and monthly follow up reports to ensure achieving the monthly plans.
