-Responsible for preparing, reviewing and issuing annual and quarterly financial statements of listed and non-listed clients;
-Assisting in the planning, execution and finalisation of all areas of the audit assignment for Manager/Partner review clearly highlighting issues and providing potential solutions to issues identified including business and audit risks;

- Involved in group audits where the task is to liaise with managers of subsidiaries to ensure the audit at subsidiary level is smooth and to ensure timely completion of audit for the purposes of consolidation. To discuss any major issues identified at subsidiary level and discuss them at group level with client personnel and KPMG managers and partners for the purposes of consolidation.
- Assessing significant risks of a client by considering the nature of business and the industry that the business operates in to devise an effective audit strategy
- Testing design, implementation and effectiveness of internal controls of clients and recommending improvements using management letter;
- Working on implementation of IFRS 15 and IFRS 9 on a listed client
- As part of audit, involved in analyzing budgets prepared by the entities to ensure they are in-line with company’s policies and assessing their accounting and financial impact on the business
- Preparing board presentations for client's board
- Providing on the job training and reviewing work of subordinates;
- Reporting directly to Managers and Directors

Client: University of Nizwa
This audit was assigned as a challenge because the audit had to be completed from the years 2012 to 2016 in one year and I had been assigned a team of fresh graduates for their on the job training. I was responsible to complete the Audit, prepare and finalize the deliverables including issuance of financial statements; I successfully managed the assigned task whilst ensuring on the job training of subordinates.
