Responsibilities: For assisting the engineering department to produce method statements, risk assessments etc, site liaison and site co-ordination.
⇒ Receiving design documents and reviewing the same.
⇒ Preparing technical submittal according to the project specifications.
⇒ Reviewing design drawings and prepare detailed shop drawing accordingly.
⇒ Co-ordinate the HVAC/Plumbing works along with the civil trades (Architectural and Structural).
⇒ Co-ordinate the HVAC/Plumbing works with the other electro-mechanical works.
⇒ Follow the approval of the technical submittal and shop drawing with the consultant.
⇒ Follow the delivery of the material as per the Tender specifications.
⇒ Allocating the man power according to the site activities and work priorities.
⇒ Reporting to the project Manager / Operation Manager.
⇒ Preparing cost analysis for any additional works.
⇒ Approval of the works done through consultant inspections. Raising RFI, inspection for work done, inspection for material etc.
⇒ Preparing as built drawing, O & M manuals.
⇒ Following and attending consultant snags and closing the same, obtaining completion certificate.
Major project: Design of HVAC systems for a green home project using design builder (villa project). Mini Project: Study on manufacturing of steam turbine rotor.
