•Lead the company’s corporate strategy for the Media, Communications, Events & Multidisciplinary Activities
•Optimize asset usage and profitability by introducing innovative solutions through projects such as Creative Spaces, LAU academy, Khan el Joukh, Souk el Tayeb, Souk El Barghout, flower market and live talk shows…
Participated in the master planning and phasing of all assets including uses definitions
•Developed & Implemented long-term strategies for the commercial assets
•Designed strategies for the retail assets including floor plans, tenant mix and space requirements, ensuring best use for the properties and seamless integration within the project
•Conducted feasibility studies and annual business planning for each of the asset
•Prepared the operational budgets for the portfolio, monitored financial performance and initiated corrective measures addressing underperformance
•Lease negotiations and structuring, ensuring the best commercial terms and budget are met
•Lease contract management, ensuring timely invoicing and collection minimizing accounts receivable, handling expiries proactively to minimize cost of vacancy
•Lead on the marketing strategy increasing the value of the asset
•Responsible for asset sales across the portfolio
•Regular reporting, asset movement tracker, sales, annual Business Plans and other ad-hoc docs for the Board
•Close coordination with the Property Management & Maintenance team responsible for keeping the portfolio in good order and sellable/ leasable shape
•Closely work with the Retail Design & Delivery team to ensure timely handover to tenants and that they are adhering to the company’s design standards
•Producing restructuring strategies for distressed assets (repurposing, financing, repositioning…)
•Support the Operations team in their day to day tasks ensuring smooth operations
•Develop and implement best practice policies and procedures to improve efficiency and profitability
•Liaise with the legal department to ensure proper integration of commercial terms in the issued agreements
•Establish good rapport with operators, tenants and governmental authorities
