Key responsibilities: 1. Provide remote technical assistance for automotive technicians in ICRC workshops worldwide 2. Monitor the utilization and performance of electric vehicles fleet in Amman (10 vehicles) 3. Provide technical training for ICRC staff (vehicle diagnostics, new car technology, EVs, …etc.) 4. Working on different IoT applications for monitoring ICRC assets (e.g. Generators, fuel level sensors)
Key responsibilities: 1. Detailed vehicle diagnosis using live data, active test, wiring check, and component test 2. Access to VW online server: coding, programming, key learning 3. Flashing installed control units (engine, transmission, power steering, … etc.) 4. Cloning services (read flash files, eeprom files, immobilizer data, …etc.)
Key responsibilities:
1. Implement training sessions for employees covering the technical aspects of cars imported by dealership. 2. Provide the required assistance in troubleshooting and diagnosis when asked for by the workshop staff. 3. Write field technical reports (FTRs) and send them to the manufacturer; Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC).
4. Contact with the regional office in Bahrain when required to ask for technical assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist workshop engineers and technicians in diagnosing and solving tough technical problems in workshop. 2. To design, schedule, and perform training sessions for employees about the technical aspects of cars imported by the dealership. 3. Lead Porsche service team which consists of 3 technicians and support them technically (from Nov 2021 till Jan 2022).
Key Responsibilities: 1. To lead Audi service team, which consists of 5 technicians. 2. Contact the technical support team in the regional office. 3. Document all warranty repairs to satisfy the specified warranty claiming guidelines. Achievements: Managed the work inside workshop to finish repairs on time while maintaining the quality standards.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Providing technical support for technicians, reception department, and sales department. 2. Diagnose and solve technical problems characterized by complexity. 3. Monitor workshop performance by calculating the efficiency, utilization, and productivity parameters. Achievements: 1. Performed several training sessions for technicians and service advisors. 2. I worked on some aspects to complete the Jordan market readiness for the new Porsche full-lectric car; the Taycan. 3. Worked on different vehicle categories including hybrid and conventional drivetrains. 4. Performed diagnosis of Airbag system, Fuel system, Ignition System, Transmissions, Chassis, CAN Bus system …etc. 5. Tested electrical wiring and signals with appropriate special tools and using advanced measuring devices such as the oscilloscope. 6. Diagnoses and repaired classic Porsche cars such as the 930 (1987) and 911 (1968).
Key Responsibilities: 1- Making different common repairs for vehicles such as; replacing brake pads, engine oil change, replacing shock absorbers, and dismantling drive shafts. 2- Make car diagnoses using computer software (VCDS). Achievements:
I gained hands-on experience by participating with technicians in making a broad range of car repairs, from oil change to engine overhauls.
Key Responsibilities: 1- Take a closer look on the maintenance process and write daily reports to my instructor. 2- Participate with technicians in making some repairs and gain more technical experience.
Achievements:
I participated in few engine overhauls processes and worked with technicians, with hands, in repairing DAF, KenWorth, and Mercedes heavy duty trucks.
A closer look to the design-engineer job was provided through “Solid Mechanics”, “Mechanical Engineering Design” and “Dynamics of Machinery” courses. Other important learnt skills are Engineering Drawing and CAD software. • Graduation Project: It was about investigating the performance of a two-shaft gas turbine engine, over a wide operating range, utilized to drive oil pump in a pressure boosting station. By the end of my project, I was able to make a research paper manuscript, with the assistance of my professor, entitled; “Compact G.T. Drive for Oil Pump Boosting Station”.
