Analyzes and advises on the planning, design, construction and maintenance of water supply systems, including source development, treatment, storage and distribution, as well as borehole drilling works in accordance with planned schedules.Assessment reports on project proposals to ensure the proposals meet water and sanitation requirements of the Mission
- General and Particular Specifications of Water and Sanitation works including working drawings, plumbing diagrams, cross-sections of underground pipes, Wat/San equipment, e fittings, fixtures etc.
- Bills of quantities and cost estimates of Water and Sanitation works in the Mission's new projects and refurbishment projects
- Review reports on Water/Sanitation designs, bills of quantities, specifications, etc. prepared by other for compliance with international codes and safety standards
- Progress and completion report of Wat/San l installations
- Tracking and closure of Wat/San Projects
- Survey and technical reports on Wat/San installations in the various camps
- Responsible for the establishment of project management procedures, management of engineering activities, interface with the clients/ third parties, project progress reviews and reporting to the internal management as well as clients, contract handling, monitoring and control of the costs, time schedule, commercial aspects like invoicing and realization of payments, contribute to business development and proposal .
- I manage and lead a team of 28 persons to supervise the execution of the surface water level decreasing piping system project at 14 different areas in the town(owner NWC at Jeddah-KSA) executed by different contractors and subcontractors. I demonstrated my good knowledge to computer applications in engineering programs, data and processing applications to manage and lead the team for a successful completion of the project within time and budget.
As a consultant engineer responsible to guide a team to supervise execution of 10 different construction projects, (owned by Jazan municipality) check and review of payments supplied by contractor's, monthly reporting to the to the projects directorate manager, attending meetings to discuss projects progress and technical issues.
I manage the execution of a water construction project which consists of two underground concrete potable water reservoirs and erection of HDP pipe water networks for Baish city plus 14 distributed villages around Baish Municipality, I take responsibility for:
- Project Management from Initiation, Planning, Execution and Control for the Project Success.
- Processes include project integration, Scope, duration, Cost, Quality, Human Resources, Communication, Procurement Management process throughout the project life cycle.
- Estimation and Planning of Manpower and Materials for entire Project.
- Project scheduling and Progress Reporting.
- Progress Billing and Contract Claim Management Meetings.
- Reporting to the Projects Manager on daily basis.
- Review of Work Breakdown Structure, Bar chart Schedule, S-Curve, Manpower Histograms and Resource Allocation.
- Guiding Lead Project Engineer and Lead System Engineer on technical and other Project related issues.
- Review of Project Purchase Order Requests.
- Coordination with vendors and subcontractors for technical and other issues for meeting the delivery schedule.
- Preparation and review of Project Monthly Progress Report.
- Attending the Project Progress review meetings.
- Project Progress Monitoring & Reporting. Project Costing and Co-ordination.
- Preparation of Project Budget and Cost Control System. Arrangement of Resources.
- Coordination with Customer Project Manager/Engineers for Commercial and technical issues.
- Review and approval of Scope of Work deviations.
- Prioritization of Project team activities based on Management requirements.
- Compilation and submission of Change Orders / Waivers / Concessions.
- Preparation of Project Summary, Risk Register and updating on regular basis.
- Management of resources as per the project schedule and milestones.
I Supervise, manage, and monitors progress / productivity on site for Atbara & Aldamer Towns W.T.P (90, 000m3/day) project activities mainly including:
· Implementation of water treatment plants (Raw water intake from River Nile - Pre-sedimentation concrete tanks - Supply line from intake to treatment plant - Fluctuation &clarifications concrete tanks, Filtration concrete tanks, Clean water underground storage concrete reservoirs, Chemicals store, Laboratory, Workshop, Low lift and high lift pumps station buildings, high level tanks, Administration Offices & staff residential buildings, Inner roads and outer surrounding fencing ) .
· Construction of water distribution main lines and networks for towns & villages served by the project.
· Responsible for the establishment of project management procedures, management of engineering activities, interface with the clients/ third parties, project progress reviews and reporting to the internal management, contract handling, monitoring and control of the costs, time schedule, commercial aspects like invoicing and realization of payments, Contribute to business development and proposals. Preparation and review of Project Monthly Progress Report.
- I manage and Execute construction of a surface water open channel project owner Jeddah Municipality (from start up to completion), main activities are excavations to the design levels and maintaining required construction slopes, erection of two layers of reinforcements steel and laying of concrete with required care of accurate sloping and good finishing. During project execution we face a problem of high groundwater level delaying construction and solved by erecting underground perforated pipe line by which we are able to decrease water level and handle the project to the owner in two years time instead of three with a certificate of good performance issued by the owner, reporting to the Projects Manager - Riyadh.
- I manage a technical office for Fedak International Estab. Branch at Medina Manawra, responsible for executing 9 different construction projects with different government authorities.
- I work as Construction Site Engineer for Majmaa (Riyadh district) Sanitary Network project (2.5years)
Responsible for executing all site activities and reporting to the P.M.
Manage and supervise (from start up to completion) :
- Construction of different drinking water treatment plants for the following towns : Khartoum ( Sahafa Water Supply Project ), Rabac W.T.P., Kosti W.T.P., Alduaim W.T.P. which consists of (Raw water intake from River Nile, Pre-sedimentation concrete tanks, Supply line from intake to treatment plant, Fluctuation &clarifications concrete tanks, Filtration concrete tanks, Clean water underground storage reservoirs, Chemicals store, Laboratory building, Workshop building, Low lift and high lift pumps station buildings, High level tanks, Administration Offices & staff residential building, Inner roads and outer surrounding fencing), construction of water distribution main lines and networks for towns & villages.
- Construction of drinking water yards (which consists of erecting centrifugal diesel pumps on excavated underground tested for drinking water wells, constructing pump house, constructing high level steel water reservoirs, erecting water supply lines, erecting water yards and constructing fences) for rural villages in different states at Sudan executed by different local and foreign contractors.
I completed an advanced training course in the field of( Project Planning and Management) using Prima Vera 6 & MS project computer programs
I completed a 5 years study in English language for engineering sciences attending all required lectures,exams and training courses and submitted the final year graduation project.
