Perform all necessary tasks to service Food & Beverage according to the standard of performance manual of the restaurant.
Greet & seat guests and serve them in a professional, discreet & personalised way
Acquire in depth knowledge of the Food & Beverage menu of the assigned outlet in order to assist and provide advice to Guests
Consistently monitor quality of Food & Beverage being served
Practice good guest relations and attend to customer complaints /queries satisfactorily
Responsible for maintaining hygiene and cleanliness standards in the outlet & upkeep of all service equipment
Responsible for all service preparations before, during & after the service (mis-en-place & mis-en-scene)
Ensure minimum wastage, breakage and spoilage.
Actively use up selling techniques to exceed Guest expectations and increase revenue
Supervise, support, schedule, assign daily work, inform and train team members in all restaurant activities and operations
Monitor, observe and ensure Team Member Restaurant is always clean and ready for service.
Support and assist in inquiries and requests and in resolving complaints
Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
Manage and monitor product quality and service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly
Assist in monitoring inventory and inventory control
Order stock when needed.
Take accurate food and drinks orders, using a POS ordering software, order slips or by memorization
Check customers’ IDs to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages
Communicate order details to the Kitchen Staff
Serve food and drink orders
Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems
Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area
Deliver checks and collect bill payments
Carry dirty plates, glasses and silverware to kitchen for cleaning
Meet with restaurant staff to review daily specials, changes on the menu and service specifications for reservations (e.g. parties)
Follow all relevant health department regulations
Provide the perfect service experience for every Guest
Ensure the Guest feels important and welcome in the restaurant
Adhere to timing standards for products and services
Present menu, answer questions and make suggestions regarding food and beverage
Serve the Guest in an accommodating manner
Positive suggestive selling.
Pre-bus tables; maintain table cleanliness, bus tables
