Test Analyst- SPD

My current role with ACCA is within the Strategic Programme delivery as a Test Analyst. My role has evolved form a Senior Examination Admin in which I conducted testing from the business side to being part of a Key Business Change here at ACCA and testing the changes.

o Regression testing business systems such as Oracle and in house software.

o Meeting tight deadlines, through the use of good time management, whilst working under pressure for the completion of Test Plans, Test Scripts and Peer Reviewing colleagues documentation.

o Providing the business with a daily UAT and progression of Testing.

o Continuous defect management and communicating issues raised directly to internal and external developers.

o Software testing of the Licensing System and Coordinator for deployment or a UAT release

o Creating a Test approach for testing and reviewing BRS to ensure a good understanding of the testing is present prior to testing.

o Leasing with Business Analyst, IT Architects and Business to ensure the delivery of testing and the quality of testing is to the highest standard.

My role within ACCA connect was to deal with students over the phone or via written communication. Furthermore;

o Managing student queries and seeking answers and solutions for them by communicating with internal stakeholders
o Providing a high level service to students
o Ability to organise my time effectively
o Adapting into my role with the aid of systems such as the Oracle, CRM and Students Live.
o The role demands the ability to listen closely, being patient and the drive to learn everyday
o The ability to adapt to change due to the implementation of new processes and SLA's

My duties as part of an Account Manager was to ensure the profitability of a region by ensuring deals were correctly and compliantly produced using the regulation provided the Financial Service Authority (FSA) . Furthermore;

o Ensuring customers maintained their agreement by producing daily reports and following up on customers
o It was my personal duty to ensure a region worth £2.5 million to the company was run compliantly and efficiently

Unit Trust

My duties involved trading and confirming large sums of monies with several well established banking organisations. As well as;
o Demanding the highest level of attention to detail with clients in confirming the exchange of stock, I was also responsible for integrating with stock brokers in confirming data and financial figures
o Daily duties also involved logging the financial statistics for the day through the means of data entry and reports to be presented to my operations manager
o The job required great attention to detail when handling financial figures. On confirmation of sales it was my duty to issue out cheques to the clients and to ensure this was done accurately and efficiently.
o The role also required the ability to trade figures via phone, email or post and so therefore the ability to deal with organisaitons world wide was critical.
