Duties comprise:

 Preparation of Profit and loss account, Balance sheet etc.
 Organizing and coordinating internal and external audits, ensuring smooth completion of quarterly and annual audits, reviewing and implementing audit recommendations
 Supervise the payment procedure for reinsurance companies, insurance companies, suppliers, brokers etc and exercise internal controls so that payments are made as per approved terms and SOA.
 Effective follow up on the insurance companies, reinsurance companies and broker’s outstanding collection, maintain rapport and resolve the accounting and reconciliation issues.
 Proactively approached in streamlining major accounts of the company resolving the age old issues to the mutual satisfaction of both the parties
 Monthly and quarterly facultative and treaty payments to reinsurance companies
 Preparation of Daily cash collection summary from customers, Insurance Companies and brokers.
 Data base maintenance of Customers, brokers, Insurance Companies and creation and maintenance of Account code of the same.
 Preparation of MIS reports to enable management to make strategic/operational decisions from time to time.
 Supervising the bank reconciliations.
 Preparation of Group reporting pack to be submitted to the parent company on monthly basis
 Reconciliation of the GL balances with the front end system.
 One of the key participants in the implementation of Oracle Finance System
 Supervising the journals, credit notes, cash receipts issued by the subordinates.
 Responding promptly and accurately to the requirements and queries of external and internal parties.
