In addition to performing my earlier roles, my responsibilities have expanded to include the following:
▪ Change Management
- Facilitates change management sessions, table all reviewed RFC's for a CAB meeting, issue agenda and
circulate all RFC's to CAB members in advance of meetings to allow prior consideration
- Coordinates business communications to ensure that business units not involved in the change process
are aware of any upcoming work that may impact them
- Updates the CAB tracker with all progress that occurs, including actions to correct problems and/or to take
opportunities to improve service quality
▪ Financial Management
- Consolidates and prepares technology-related CAPEX and OPEX budgetrequirements for the whole bank prior
to the start of each financial year
- Tracks expenses against each budget line item and ensures that costs are within the planned budget
- Prepares and submits a monthly budget report to management
▪ Supplier and Contracts Management
- Tracks and manages renewals of maintenance contracts for IT Hardware and Software Systems.
- Reviews SLAs along with the relevant team in IT to ensure that it is aligned with the internal SLAs agreed with
business units.
- Ensure that suppliers meet their contractual commitments
▪ Supports and participates in activities to build stable platforms for budgeting and forecasting
▪ Helps resolve identified audit and risk related observations within area of responsibility
▪ Authors, updates, and reviews team level documentation to help ensure these meet quality criteria and
are up to date
▪ Provides the required support to ongoing projects and assist the successful completion of allocated tasks
within the specified timelines
▪ Responsible for various planning, coordination and control areas within the department
Responsible for setting up and maintaining IT Division’s documentation library
▪ Document administration of Annual Maintenance Contracts, Service Level Agreements, etc.
▪ Keeps track of IT Division’s budget and expenses
▪ Minutes steering committee meetings attended by top decision makers in the bank
▪ Creates the IT Monthly Performance Report which is submitted to Board of Directors
▪ Tracks and follows up on audit observations (internal and external) from date of issue till closure
▪ Provides support to Head of IT and the whole of IT Division
Provides assistance to the Chief Information Officer by doing calendar and tasks management, flight
and hotel bookings, proofreading of contracts, inter alia.
▪ Liaises with vendors for the procurement of various IT equipments and software
▪ Documents minutes of meetings as well as doing follow ups on actions arising from these meetings
▪ Supports the Chief Information Officer during the significant phase of Core Banking Project
implementation
-General office administration, handling secretarial functions for senior management and ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the office
-Prepares regular reports, tender documentations, specifications, and Charter Party Agreements for hire of marine vessels
-Resolves routine administrative problems and answering queries concerning operations of the Company
